My second trip to Pripyat

My second trip to Pripyat

Hi guys
1 of November 2008 I made my second trip to Pripyat. This town on summer and autumn is different, on autumn you can feel atmosphere of disaster. I'm very happy that I have chance to visit this town second time.
Some new photos you can see in my gallery

Pripyat is an abandoned city in the Zone of alienation in northern Ukraine, Kiev Oblast, near the border with Belarus. It was home to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant workers. The city was abandoned in 1986 following the Chernobyl disaster. Its population had been around 50,000 prior to the accident.

Many people ask me additional information about Zone, so I decide to put some links in my journal

About comments and thanks...

It's very pleasured for me when I see my works in your favourites, but I don't like to encrease my "comments" counter with messages like "thanks for fav" etc, so you must know - I thankful for each comment and fav beforehand. Also, if I favourited your work, it's because I like it, so you have no need to thank me :)

Best regards

Club system for deviantART

Journal Entry: Wed Aug 6, 2008, 4:49 AM
Recently *dazza1008 launched a Petition for dA to make a club System. I'll support her, but we need around 3 million signs, so it is very appreciated if you sign the petition.

Here are some of the benefits of a club system: ( the rest is in the petition link )

* for club members
- as clicking on a thumbnail would provide a direct link, it saves time - no need to click on the club's piece, and then follow the link to the original to fave that
- also, since it would then be impossible to fave anything other than the original piece, time saved from not having to un-fave club gallery pieces.
- no need to give permission for the club to host their piece, since the member would submit their piece to the club (i.e. has full control over the process)

For signing the petition, please click here [link] and for the news article ( for more information ) [link]
