it's not a problem if you be in Ukraine, it cost only ~70$ (You can send note to me for details) - I think it's not so much for the trip to alienation zone. For us, it's a memory, because we all live here, in this country. For other peolpe, maybe this is just an adventure...

In some places 15 microroentgen/hour, in other more than 1000 microroentgen/hour. Near "dirty" places like on :thumb89370300: more than 10000 microroentgen/hour. Average is 40-80 microroentgen/hour - it's not dangerous for health during trip I participated in.

I saw a film shot by a Russian film crew, in'87, called "The Warning". A number of of the crew died including three directors, the director who introduced the film died 7 months later. Recently I saw a documentary film on Pripyat & recognised it straight away. It's amazing how nature is slowly coming back, and from what I've heard, helping cleanse the area.
