My second trip to Pripyat
Hi guys
1 of November 2008 I made my second trip to Pripyat. This town on summer and autumn is different, on autumn you can feel atmosphere of disaster. I'm very happy that I have chance to visit this town second time.
Some new photos you can see in my
gallery
Pripyat is an abandoned city in the Zone of alienation in northern Ukraine, Kiev Oblast, near the border with Belarus. It was home to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant workers. The city was abandoned in 1986 following the Chernobyl disaster. Its population had been around 50,000 prior to the accident.
Many people ask me additional information about Zone, so I decide to put some links in my journal

About comments and thanks...
It's very pleasured for me when I see my works in your favourites, but I don't like to encrease my "comments" counter with messages like "thanks for fav" etc, so you must know - I thankful for each comment and fav beforehand. Also, if I favourited your work, it's because I like it, so you have no need to thank me

Best regards

I always wanted to get to Pripyat. Unfortunately, it's too expensve for one day trip, because of visa and plane ticket to Kiev.
And btw welcome to my watch list

Computers are unreliable, but humans are even more unreliable. Any system which depends on human reliability is unreliable.
Have a great day.
